I got a new iPhone and now my SleepWatch App does not work.

These are the recommended steps to take in sequence to help ensure Sleep Watch is successfully transitioned to your new iPhone:

  1. Make sure you have already created a Sleep Watch Account.  Make sure you are logged into that account in Sleep Watch on your Old iPhone:  Open the Sleep Watch App on your Old iPhone and go to the Account menu. If you see your email address at the top, then you are successfully logged into your Sleep Watch account. If you see ‘Login to sync data’, tap and login to your existing Sleep Watch account.

  2. Make sure your Apple Watch is unpaired from your Old iPhone:  Go to the ‘Watch’ App on your Old iPhone. Tap your Apple Watch (if shown).  Under this 'Apple Watch' Screen, you may see your Apple Watch listed with a yellow 'i' to the right.  Tap the yellow 'i', then Tap to 'Unpair Apple Watch' or follow the onscreen instructions to unpair.

  3. Make sure your Apple Watch is paired to your New iPhone:  Go to the ‘Watch’ App on the New iPhone.  Tap your Apple Watch. Under this 'Apple Watch' Screen, you should see your Apple Watch listed with a yellow 'i' to the right.  You should be directed to a screen which shows it is 'Paired'.  If it does not show as 'Paired', follow the instructions to 'Pair' it.

  4. Make sure 'SleepWatch App by Bodymatter' is installed on your New iPhone.  You can find it here:  SleepWatch by Bodymatter in the App Store

  5. Complete Installation (if necessary).

  6. Open Sleep Watch App on your New iPhone.

  7. Make sure you are logged into your SleepWatch Account from within the SleepWatch App on your New iPhone: If you see ‘Welcome to SleepWatch’, complete the set-up / on-boarding steps until you see the Log-in Screen - and then Log-in.  If you see an Account Menu Tab, select that Tab and then Tap ‘Login to Sync Data’ to Log-in there.

  8. Make sure SleepWatch App is installed on your Apple Watch:  Open to the ‘Watch’ App on your New iPhone. Scroll down to ‘SleepWatch’ and tap it.  Make sure ‘Show on Apple Watch’ setting is enabled. If it is not enabled, then enable it and wait for the process to complete. Open Sleep Watch App on your New iPhone and keep it on the 'Today' view to trigger a sync to your Watch.

  9. Open SleepWatch App on your Apple Watch. If you see a ‘Setup Required’ screen then force-touch (touch firmly) to refresh.

  10. You should now see a recent Sleep Report or a ‘No Sleep Data’ message. This indicates you have successfully set-up your Sleep Watch using your New iPhone.

  11. Wear your New Apple Watch to sleep for at least 1 hour to see your personalized Sleep Report on either your Apple Watch or your iPhone through your Sleep Watch App.
